Join us for the 4th Annual Veterans Day Tribute, a heartfelt occasion where we come together to honor and commemorate the service and sacrifices of our veterans. This year, being held on a Saturday, promises to be an especially popular and moving event, brought to you through the collaborative efforts of the Fisher Park Neighborhood Association and the Floral Park Neighborhood Association.

Time: 5:30 PM onwards for socializing; Event activities commence at 6:00 PM

Event Elements:

• Solemn Flag-Lowering Ceremony by Local Boy Scout Troop: Witness the dignified lowering of the flag, a poignant moment carried out by a local Boy Scout troop, and accompanied by the heartfelt notes of the Taps bugle call.
• Patriotic Melodies: Be moved by the stirring patriotic tunes performed by a talented local women’s ensemble.
• Legacy of Jack Fisher: Discover the inspiring story of Jack Fisher, the veteran after whom the park is named, and his enduring impact.
• Colors Presented: Pay homage to our nation’s colors as the Santa Ana Police Department’s Honor Guard presents the flags.
• Worn Flags Retirement: Contribute your worn flags for proper retirement; the Orange County Fire Authority will be onsite for collection.
• Distinguished Guests: Join us alongside esteemed local elected officials who’ll be present to honor our veterans.
• Veteran Appreciation: As a token of our gratitude, veterans in attendance will receive a special commemorative gift.
